This policy explains how Trade Services Network (TSN), its associated entities, and references to “we”, “us” and “our”, collect, hold, use, disclose, access, correct and protect personal information, credit information and credit eligibility information.
We do not sell or disclose personal information to others so they can directly market their own products or services.

You may choose not to provide personal information or may use a pseudonym where practical. If the information is needed to provide services, process payment, deal with an insurer, assess an application, or meet legal requirements, we may be unable to proceed without it.
How we collect and hold information

We may also collect information from insurers, brokers, authorised representatives, suppliers, employment agencies, publicly available registers, online professional sources, referees, credit reporting bodies, trade referees, and government agency searches where lawful and relevant.

We take reasonable security measures, including industry-standard safeguards, to protect information from unauthorised access, use, disclosure, alteration or loss. When information is no longer required, we will destroy or de-identify it where appropriate.

We may use service providers, including analytics, software support and survey providers, to assist our operations. Some support or service providers may be overseas, but information is stored in Australia where applicable. We require service providers to maintain confidentiality and de-identify information where practical.
Credit information
This credit information section applies where an individual applies for, guarantees, or is otherwise associated with commercial trade credit from TSN. TSN does not provide consumer credit.
We may collect, hold, use and disclose credit information and credit eligibility information to assess commercial credit applications, assess guarantors, manage commercial credit provided by us, conduct ongoing checks, collect overdue payments, and deal with defaults where permitted by law. Credit information may be obtained from the individual, credit reporting bodies, trade referees, government agency searches, public registers and other lawful sources.

- employer details;
- driver licence details;
- information about commercial credit applications, guarantees, credit type and amount;
- credit background information;
- adverse reporting;
- court proceedings relating to credit;
- personal insolvency information; and
- publicly available information relevant to creditworthiness.
Credit information and credit eligibility information may be held electronically or in paper form. We take reasonable measures to protect it and generally hold this information within Australia. We are not likely to disclose credit information or credit eligibility information to overseas entities.
Access, correction and complaints
You may request access to, or correction of, personal information, credit information or credit eligibility information we hold about you by contacting our Privacy Officer. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. Access will be provided within a reasonable time unless an exception applies under the Privacy Act. We may charge reasonable access costs and will tell you before doing so. If we refuse access or correction, we will provide reasons where required.
Credit eligibility information, such as credit reports, may also be available directly from the relevant credit reporting body, often at no cost.
If you have a privacy or credit information complaint, please contact our Privacy Officer. We will acknowledge the complaint promptly, consider what action should be taken, and seek to resolve your concerns.
Where this policy does not apply
This policy does not apply to acts and practices directly related to employee records of current and former employees. It does apply to employment candidate information. It also does not govern third-party websites linked from our website, and you should review those third parties’ privacy statements.
Website measurement
Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Microsoft Clarity are not activated on this website in this version. Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Microsoft Clarity and other third-party measurement tags or cookies are not active on this website. This website does not load GA4, Clarity, consent banners or similar third-party measurement code.
A submitted enquiry also includes limited first-party page and source fields: a submission identifier, the current page path, an optional landing-page path, the first landing page from this visit, any allowlisted campaign or click identifiers from those page paths, and an external referring hostname when one is present. Page paths keep only the same-site path and allowlisted campaign or click parameters; they do not include the site origin, hash, or other query values. Those limited first-party source and click fields may be used to understand and respond to the enquiry, for source attribution, and for aggregate performance reporting. The initial source values are held temporarily in session storage until the enquiry is submitted or the browser session ends. They are first-party form fields, not third-party measurement tags or cookies.
If TSN later enables GA4, Clarity or similar non-essential measurement, TSN will update this notice and any required consent arrangements before that collection begins.
If enabled later, GA4 may process browser and device information, approximate location, and interaction data about how pages are used. Clarity may process page rendering, clicks, scrolling and session-replay-style interaction data, with form inputs masked.
Google Search Console, if used by TSN, is a webmaster tool for search indexing and performance reports. It is not an on-site tracking tag on this website.
